Poppa was born in 1925 in Petrolia Ontario.
After completing his education, it was the 1940's, it was the time when all good men enlisted for military service to serve their Country.
This was true for Poppa as well, he served until his 21st birthdate and then returned to Canada,
as a veteran he received a job in a automotive factory,where he worked until 1978.

Upon his retirement he became the furniture builder and repair person for... Granny's Boot Antiques Twenty eight years later, in the summer of 2006 on his 81st birthday Poppa decided that he would like to create memories of his life and began carving, first it was a series of 30 folk art decoys then on to his Nature Poles, Animals, Birds and People. Recently Poppa has decided to be the next "Poppa Moses" and has created many beautiful primitive folk art paintings. We hope you enjoy Poppa's Folk Art as much as we do.
